Lizzy – The Great Dane
According to Guiness, as of Novermber 2014 Lizze the Great Dane is the tallest currently living dog. She is 96.41 centimeters (37.96 inches) tall.
“She was measured aged seven years, but owner Greg Sample says she was this tall by the age of three. He calls her a “show-stopper”, adding that she always attracts attention when they’re out and about.“
4. What breed has the longest puppyhood?
While this is not strictly one dog that holds a record, it is an interesting fact about a special breed of dog.
Boxer, as a rule, have about three years of puppyhood. They are considered the “Peter Pan” of dogs. Most dogs are considered fully adult when they are about two years old. Not the Boxer.

5. Breed with the longest ears – ever
Bloodhound – Tigger
“The longest ears on a dog measured 34.9 cm (13.75 in) and 34.2 cm (13.5 in) for the right and left ears, respectively, on 29 September 2004. They belong to Tigger, a bloodhound, who is owned by Bryan and Christina Flessner of St Joseph, Illinois, USA.
Tigger has won many show titles and over 180 Best of Breed awards. He was inducted into the Bloodhound ‘Hall of Fame’ in 2003.
Unfortunately Tigger passed away in October 2009.”

10. Breed of the Smallest Dog Living?
“The smallest dog living, in terms of height, is female Chihuahua Miracle Milly, who measures 9.65 cm (3.8 in) tall and is owned by Vanesa Semler of Dorado, Puerto Rico.
Born in December 2011, she weighs roughly 1 pound (half a kilogram) and is known for often sticking out her tiny tongue when someone takes her picture. “She knows how to pose,” says Vanesa.
“People are amazed when they see her because she is so small, and she has a big personality. People love her.”
When she was born, Miracle Milly weighed less than an ounce and fit in a teaspoon, Semler said. Her mouth was too tiny to nurse from her mother, so Semler gave her milk every two hours through an eyedropper.”
