Do you have a fur-baby named Max or Bella? According to VIP Pet Insurance ( 2013, 2014 and 2015) these girl dog names and box dog names were the most popular. Max moved around near the top of the list, but Bella remained at the top for all three years. We know “Finding that perfect name” is often more difficult than finding the perfect fur-child and thought you’d be interested in what others are choosing.
Maybe (gasp!) you are a cat lover. No problem Max and Bella are the most popular names for our feline purr-fersons as well.
The American Kennel Club has their list of names and (of course) it differs, but Max and Bella are among the top names there as well.

Picking a Name:
One suggestion that often works is to bring the fur-child home for a few week. Quite often their personality will tell you the perfect name (like Hunter or Nosy or Shadow…). Regardless of the name you pick, you fur-child will hear the love and that is what really counts in the end.
